Since kids, we got educated to respect nature and environment. Since 2021, I became member of the LGS (Girl-scouts/ Boy-scouts in Luxembourg) , and I discovered the personality of Lord Baden-Powel, the founder of scouting, and one of famous words always remains in my mind:
“Try and leave this world a little better than you found it“.
The usage and interpretations of these words are multiple, so once I’m traveling to somewhere, I try to keep my footprint on our planet as small as possible. So my preferred mean of transport is public transport, combined with bicycle/walking. I know that I cannot completely stop the usage of car, and for traveling to another continent, the airplane will remain the most efficient mean of transport.
